 GREAT Tankini but watch the size!Jul 31, 2012

I've been searching for a Tankini with boy-cut shorts forever because the one I have is about 20 years old and fading away. Good luck finding Tankinis with matching boy-cut shorts! Usually all you get is a top and then you can't find bottoms to go along with it. I couldn't believe it when I went onto Amazon.com, LOTS of Tankinis and they even had boy-cut shorts to go along with the top,I was so happy. I ordered this suit because I really like the colors. The suit fits GREAT! The colors are very pretty. VERY fast shipping too! It's listed as a size 12 XL and I don't ever buy anything that's XL but sometimes I buy a size 12 so I thought that I'd better try a 12 even though it's marked as XL and I'm glad I did because it fits perfect. The only things is that the straps were a bit of a puzzle for me with the way they tie into a bow in the back but I'm super happy with this suit and I would say that if you're wondering on the size, go a bit larger than normal.

I bought this in anticipation of a trip to Hawaii and found it to be just okay. I like the cut and styling of the boy-shorts but the straps on the tankini top made it frustrating. I love the colors! The cut on the tankini top is good; I'm a 36-B so it held the "girls" in place okay but not for swimming! It was difficult to get the top on just right without having a diagram for the neck and arms, the straps are really long and I am contemplating just making it a halter top.
